Mist Directory UAE (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates an online business directory platform that allows users and companies to search, list, and promote business information across the seven Emirates of the United Arab Emirates. By accessing or using our website or any related services (“Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform.

Mist Directory is open to all users aged 18 and above, and by registering a business, you confirm that you are authorized to represent the company and that all information provided is accurate, lawful, and compliant with UAE regulations. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for promptly notifying us of any unauthorized use. We reserve the right to suspend, limit, or delete accounts if false, misleading, harmful, or illegal activity is detected.

Businesses may submit free listings or opt for paid sponsored listings. By submitting any business information, images, descriptions, or media (“Content”), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and use this content on our platform. You are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the submitted content and agree not to upload anything that is false, defamatory, offensive, copyrighted, or in violation of UAE laws. Mist Directory may edit, hide, or remove content at its discretion if it violates legal, safety, or quality standards.

Sponsored listings and advertisements are offered through paid plans. By purchasing a sponsored plan, you acknowledge that all fees are non-refundable unless explicitly stated, and that sponsored visibility does not guarantee rankings, leads, or business performance. Payments are processed securely through our designated payment gateway, and you agree to provide valid billing information and accept invoices electronically. Mist Directory is not responsible for third-party payment processing errors, failed transactions, or banking charges.

All intellectual property on the platform—including category structures, design elements, graphics, and text—is owned by Mist Directory and protected under UAE copyright and intellectual property laws. Users may not copy, scrape, extract, resell, or reproduce site content without prior written permission. Any attempt to misuse the platform, including hacking, automated scraping, spam, impersonation, or fraudulent activity, may result in immediate account termination and legal action.

We collect and process personal data in accordance with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection (PDPL). Personal information is collected only for lawful purposes, stored securely, and not shared with third parties without consent except when required by UAE authorities. Mist Directory strives to maintain an accurate and up-to-date directory but does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information submitted by users or businesses. We are not responsible for losses, damages, or disputes arising between customers and businesses listed on the platform. The website is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for downtime, technical interruptions, or indirect damages. Our maximum liability, if applicable, is limited to the total amount paid by the user for sponsored services.

Mist Directory may contain links to external websites or third-party services. We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, safety, or accuracy, and users access such websites at their own risk. We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
